This book isn’t a traditional memoir outlining the chronological details of my life. Rather, I have elected to present a collection of stories or vignettes that highlight various learning experiences throughout my life. My intention is to allow the you, the reader, to pick any story to read as they are standalone pieces. These accounts are designed to offer insight into the times I have lived through and the circumstances I have encountered.I’d started this memoir project some years ago but other book projects absorbed my time and thus this project didn’t get the priority it deserved until my daughters Carol and Holly urged me consider writing a story each week last year. That technique fit into my writing schedule and I was able to complete this project and produce my second murder mystery novel, “A Dangerous Dig,” at the same time.
